This is a test of the Performancing for Firefox web browser extension! This little tool makes it simple to post to blogs from anywhere on the internet. If you haven’t tried Firefox yet … there are some really great tools one can use when surfing … not to mention that it is a more secure web browser than IE!!!

I will also be posting some fave Bible scriptures as I run across them …
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.
I Corinthians 13:14-18

Going back to work after a week of vacation seems to grow into a more traumatic experience as time marches on. It is even moreso when we have to return from Bella Vista since we would both love to already be living there on a permanent basis. As such, that first day back at work can be trying to say the least. Well, it is Monday and we both went back to work today. Monday evenings we also square dance with our Bluebonnets square dance club. Well, we dragged our butts out tonight and I am SO happy that we did! If you didn’t realize it before, you will now … but we just LOVE square dancing. The exercise is so invigorating and I can’t tell you how friendly everyone is. I was glad to be back in their midst as they always manage to brighten my day! Thanks, Bonnets!!!

We arrive home safely after the 10 hour trek and there is not a single voice mail! It was very unusual to say the least. Alas, it wasn’t 15 minutes before the phone rang and our daughter Missy was welcoming us home. After the pleasantries, Missy starts to talk about the upcoming J Fam reunion in September. You see, Jake’s family is having a reunion this September and she really wanted to go. There are many cousins on the J Fam side who she enjoys and most of Jake’s brothers and sisters are making it a priority to attend this event. And, as I am prone to do, rather than closely listening to her, I am thinking the whole time … she doesn’t know that her father has volunteered to assist them if they truly want to join in on the family fun. And I am so excited because I think I know they will be able to go … after all!
Well … no, that was not exactly what she was saying. What she was saying was that she and Peter would like to go to the the family reunion BUT THAT IS WHEN THE BABY IS DUE!!! I am thinking … Did she just say baby? WHAT baby? Which one of her friends is pregnant now? It can’t possibly be Missy. She isn’t supposed to be conceiving at this point in time. She can’t be possibly pregnant. Can she? A total silence falls over the conversation as these thoughts are rambling through my head. Is it Missy whose baby is due? Jake finally says something … I again am hushed and humbled and, by this point in time, have all but dropped the phone and am in tears over the thought of the miracle with which Missy and Peter have been blessed! I cannot speak at all. So many thoughts ran through my mind but mostly prayers of thanksgiving for answer to prayer.
