National Square Dance Convention

Jake and I attended the National Square Dance Convention held from June 21st to the 24th in San Antonio, TX.  We are seen above with the members of our Bluebonnets Square Dance Club who attended the convention.

It was a lot of fun but it was really hard to hear the callers and there were SO many people.  We heard that there were over 7000 in attendance.  Sometimes it was difficult to complete moves since there was a human wall in the way!  Not to mention that my feet were feeling the pain!!!

Now we can say that we have … “Been there and done that!”  Not sure we will go again however.

I think this passage sheds much light on the current situation in the Episcopal Church USA.  I don't know any Episcopalians who don't love their fellow man regardless of culture, race or sexual orientation.  However that does not mean that we need to condone, or for that matter bless, behaviors.  To me, this is the crux of the situation.
