Watching Roger Clemens pitch what could be his last home game in history was the end to one outstanding weekend for this happy soul. It began in SA with my new grandson and continued with the first baby shower for our new granddaughter who is set to be delivered around December 1st. It just doesn’t get any better than this!!! Many thanks to hubbie’s boss for offering us the company seats for this momentous occasion.
Wonderful time was had by all. Champions was lovely and the food was outstanding! Karen and Billy were the recipients of many pink and bunny gift items! I am holding a teddy bear which was made by her Aunt Rose. It was my fave!!!
More photos at family Flickr site and many more photos at Yahoo.
… or not! The kids may exercise their right to change their minds with regard to their little girl’s name before she actually joins us! Otherwise, I was just testing the new You Tube video capabilities on wordpress.com. Sweet!!!
Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of mockers. But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers.
Psalms 1: 1-3
I doubt this passage refers to literally “standing in the way of sinners” but it would be interesting if that was indeed an additional message. One can only give so much advice and then one needs to stand back and let others walk their own path. Now if I could just follow my own advice!
