It appears this time Aaron’s rolling over was a planned event! Missy watched and encouraged him as he learned how to move his body parts in order to allow himself to roll over!!! His mother rolled over everywhere she wanted to go for months! We didn’t know if she would ever start crawling because she certainly didn’t have a reason to do so. The roll over thing was working just great!!!

OK … so it was probably an accident but who cares! I could hear his mother saying, “Oh my … what happened here? And by golly, she told me he had just rolled over somehow while she wasn’t watching! It’s a start!!!

Today Aaron is 4 months old. He weighed in at 17 pounds (which is a little less than we thought he was) and he is 27 1/4 inches. He is LONG! He did not like the doctor checking out his ears. He did get his shots and has been more tired and quiet today as a result. He is doing really well at propping himself up on his elbows when he’s on his tummy. He still hasn’t figured out rolling over yet. He can get on his side pretty well though. He has learned how to arch his back so that it’s tough to get him in his car seat. He continues to babble a lot but he doesn’t really laugh that much. He puts just about everything (except a bottle and a pacifier) in his mouth. He has avoided getting sick so far - although many of his friends have gotten sick. He still likes to sit up whenever he can so that he can see more of the world
