In the midst of spring cleaning, Aaron helps Grandpa put together some Ikea Malm drawers! When he noticed Gpa hammering, he left the room to get his own little hammer. Upon his return, he started hammering on the drawers just like Gpa! TOO CUTE!!!

Aaron can sign as well. In the photo above he is signing “dog”. We are amazed at what a difference it makes communicating with him! We can’t understand most of what he says but we understand everything he signs!!!

Note the absolutely gorgeous weather!  For the record, I wore my first T-shirt of the year on Sunday, February 24th this year … in San Antonio.  I believe San Antonio tied their record high for the day at 91 degrees!  When do you suppose I will be wearing my first T-shirt next year once we become full time residents of Arkansas?!?

Graphisme et utilitaires … free photo editing software … spotted on my new fave tech/web blog CyberNetNews.com.  Did I forget to mention that it appears to be in French!?!  Those years of French may actually come in handy after all.

Which reminds me … did I ever mention that I passed out of my college foreign language requirement based on my knowledge of the … FRENCH language!  Yes … though born in a Spanish-speaking country, it was my studies of the French language from elementary school through high school which earned me my exemption.

W Fam Updates … A is Walking!

From Missy …

Well today I can officially say he is walking. This morning he walked all around our front room playing with the montessori materials that I would let him use (he also walked one of the item labels over to the trash for me). I think he is also getting taller - he can now easily reach the flip switch on the sliding door to get outside. He hasn’t totally figured out how it works - but he is getting close. He is still trying to talk a lot. I think he’s sort of learned how to sign please (although it does look similar to bath and we all know how much he loves a bath). He has been taking LONG naps - in part because of all this exercise and he might be teething. Our video camera is out of batteries - so once I fix that I will get a tape of him walking. Anyway, just thought you’d like to know!

We were visiting Missy’s fam just last week and A was making great progress with his walking.  Happy to hear that he is really working at it nowadays!  Can’t wait for the videos!!!
